(no subject)

I just realized something. Kate Bush is the best songwriter ever when it comes to music about death. Odd thought, but think about it - there's "A Coral Room," "This Woman's Work," "Army Dreamers," "Moments of Pleasure," and more I'm not thinking of I'm sure. She has a way of approaching the subject which is uniquely touching; she doesn't discount the sadness involved but rarely makes it an entirely melancholy affair either. I'd be more than interested to speak with her about her thoughts on death itself, I'm betting they'd be fascinating.

Just a random thought. This post is mostly for Jenni, but if anyone else likes it, so much the better.
