the party was almost perfect.
i did get thrown into the pool fully clothed...
and the sun wasn't really shining and it sprinkled a little bit...
but it was an amazing experience, wet clothes and all. i will always remember it. it seems like most everyone had an excellent time. my legs hurt from walking around the house a billion times over giving people tours. i honestly think it would have been more effective to make maps or put signs over each door explaining which room was behind it.
we're going back there in a little while to clean up and that way i can open the rest of the cards and presents. what i've opened already are just beautiful, amazing, thoughtful things. it's really nice to know how much people care about you. and it helps me realize who doesn't, but when the numbers add up there's more love than disrespect. things happened that i'll never be able to forgive or forget. i'm just hoping it becomes more of their problem than ours...
and now i'm going to a recovery breakfast at the hercules coney island with my spiro girls. they are amazing.
