It has been a while...
Hmmm, so what have I been up to?
Went to Darton Anniversary. Was good.
Finally got around to making it to Wearable Art Show. Was very cool and definitely worth bringing binoculars to, just to be able to see more of the costume detail. The NZ ballet and opera bits were very good.
15th C dress was finished to wearable in time for N&Ks wedding. Worked well with red wool hood and mask. There are photos on Facebook (sorry...). Wedding was good and there was much good food and good company.
Got to tour around a bit of the neighbouring substation last weekend. Fun watching the construction progress (diggers rolling along at fence height, while building the berm) and seeing some of the inside stuff.
Upcoming:
Featherston feast this weekend.
I'll be in Adelaide for a bit of next week - conference for work. Presenting a paper - the usual sort of stuff.
Welly Folk Festival (must book...)
Should probably start thinking about Christmas/New Years...
Between projects at present. Will think of something I am sure. Leastwise plans for something completely different are afoot for CF, but very proto at present.
