Yo
Well French class was cancelled today because my prof had to pick up her kids since their school closed early! Now I have a bit of free time. I just read three acts of The Winter's Tale for my Shakespeare class which is at 2. So far it isn't comedic at all. A woman and small children died and a guy got ripped apart by a bear...hmmm...
Yesterday I somehow got my car out of the snow to go buy things to make my bed more comfortable. Then I babysat Eleni and the new baby Pauline. Eleni talks so much now! I walked in and she said "Hi Lauren. I just pulled all my clothes out of my drawers and now my room is so pretty!" And then she came and hugged me since I haden't seen her since the summer! She is so big now! I think she is very smart for a two year old, but I might be biased...Pauline was so adorable. She is almost four months old. All in all it was a lot better than the daycare (which luckily closed today!! Woo!) I used to like it, but I am not respected enough and I feel rather used and abused so I don't know if I can stay there. Considering how many bills I am going to have I can't afford a job that pays that little. I could get a lot more money babysitting for different families than having 16 at once! I think the daycare should hire guys but I feel like they don't do that. I think the preschool and toddler rooms could really use male teachers along with the female teachers. Maybe if they hired a college guy who could work whenever it fits like I do it would be enough. It seems they listen to males more in those rooms because some male in their lives must be the diciplinarian. My voice is so ridiculously soft that they don't even bother listening to me. I am better qualified with infants up to younger toddlers because the older children don't listen to people they don't know. I am the subsitute teacher they throw things at...I am not there often enough and I leave and come back too much to make a good enough connection for them to think of me as the teacher. I don't know. I need to get paid more!
