It’s so difficult when a friend is going through a rough time, you see them slipping away, try to do as much as you can to support, be there, listen. But, you know there is really only so much you can do to help. After their show a few weeks ago with giants (which was a great success yay!), robotadam & I had a heart to heart about his feelings about the others & his overall discontent with everything. A week later he left the band. Vegas has had me trying to call him countless times the past few days to persuade him to at least do their Glasshouse and Warped dates, but there’s only so much we can do. Adam is so spoiled and lazy, in the long run it’s better to find a new guy, but he owes it to himself and the guys to at least leave on good terms and do what he committed to do. At least my biological son isn’t causing me any grief. His birthday plans have commenced: party in the park with a bounce house. He’s going to be six!!!

Weenie Roast was a lot of fun in the scorching sun. All I have to say here is I LOVE FOO FIGHTERS. This song “Razor” is one of the new ones. The CDs are divine, but I am incredibly biased hehe. Last week I got to see Scarlet whom I haven’t seen in ages, great new material. They played a bar here for this capitol a&r rep’s bday. Ran into this artist/musician that I have been communicating about art with on myspace for like a year, turns out he is the bday lady’s brother! Effing small world. Had so much fun with Michelle, robotErica, Vegas, Zak, Donger and his new “friend”. Oh lawdy, she’s from a reality show. All we could do was laugh. Tonight should be a lot of fun with everyone hitting up the Filter party then Viper.
…Patience my dear, we could spend a lifetime waiting here. Maybe this time I hope I get the chance to say goodbye…
