I don’t really like Halloween that much. I’m such a chicken shit of horror stuff. We did a screening for The Grudge & have these key chains in the office that make that horrid cat sound the boy makes & I about die every time someone sets one off. T is going to be Raphael, the teenage mutant ninja turtle! Erica & Sheiya want us to go to Knott’s Scary Farm with them, but oh man I almost killed T’s dad there the last time I went there when we were teenies. I got so scared when this monster jumped out that I like basically pushed him into a wall. Oops. Anyways, T’s quite excited for the school’s carnival & trick-or-treating. I am looking forward to it being over with hehe.
Vegas turned 30 on 10/13. hahaha. He did not enjoy gaining the year, but enjoyed his gifts of course. Robots invading the US - tales from the road of speeding tickets, girly action and some awesometastic shows.
Christine invited me to see her husband’s band, turns out Mari, Erica & I already knew the keyboardist from one crazy night, and Erica knows the singer separately so we went to go see them last week at The Gig. Quite interesting. Saw Agent Sparks (the new Audiovent) at El Rey too. Also, very interesting. I ran into Ben the week before & they were everything that he had said they would be- The Pixies. Ran into Ryan from trw that night too. It was weird JC frm nsync was there and so was ethan embry lol. It was so cool seeing Ryan tho, catching up. They opened for head automatica the next night which was very cool. Let’s see what else since last entry…The Used CD release party YAY, good times with the crazy girlies. Nintendo Fusion - awwww, Matt is building a house! So cool to see the enthusiasm in his eyes, they were just sparkling as he was talking about it. Bright Eyes at orpheum was just amazingly brilliant. Just beyond words.
