I've wrote the whole story out in ...2 hours but it's now only 2k+, the problem is expanding and filling in the parts. And trying to write it as if it makes sense. I never write in 2nd person and I will admit I usually hate 2nd person fics but there's this thrill I got from reading a 2nd person perspective poem that it got stuck in my head and now I had to write it down.
Locations
1) A psychiatric hospital.
Patients (Because the easiest way to ruin someone is to destroy their childhood)
You - Narrator, point of view of the story. 23 years old in the story. Come from a family who neglects her. Rich. Mother has multiple lovers when her father is off to 'work' and picking up young gay boys. Has a best friend that moved away when she was 15 and he was 19. Blocked that part of the memory away. A drug abuser. Was arrested and sentenced to the mental hospital for attacking her cheating boyfriend under the influence of drugs.
Diagnosis : Psychogenic amnesia/dissociative amnesia
Him (best friend) - Jack - 27 years old in the story. Smoker, charmer, person who lives at the edge of life. An aspiring actor who moved to New York but got entangled in the crime life and murdered someone in the gang. Has a scar across his cheek. Nicknamed Henry by the mental hospital's patients. Was shocked to see the narrator at the mental hospital.
Diagnosis : ?
Tina - 35 years old - a former prostitute who was forced into the business by her abusive ex boyfriend. Takes the narrator under her wings. Used to be a drug abuser but stays on in the hospital to work. Loves Les Miserables and theatre shows and plays the songs records. Has a 18 years old son that tries to reach out to her but she's rejecting him because she doesn't want him to be associated with her and thinks it is for the best.
'People forget that we are human. They forget that we have feelings, things we love, songs we like, dancing, wishes and dreams like a normal human. They forget and instead treat us like disposable sex dolls, face down on the bathtub, being fucked and destroy from the inside. Just another warm hole to stick their dicks into.'
'I wish I can tell you that things will be better, that there will be warm days and sunny mornings ahead but that will be nothing short of a lie. There's nothing we can change about our past, there's no time machine, the only thing that we can change is how we view ourselves.'
Derek - 25 years old. Believes in the existence of ufo and human abduction. Thinks that he can't leave the hospital because the aliens are waiting for him outside. An amazing singer and used to work as a bar singer.
Arthur - 19 years old.
Neil - 21 years old. A victim of child abuse who prostitutes himself because he believes that when man touches him, he is loved. Openly gay. Was raped (character taken from JGL's character in Mysterious Skin). Used to pick up guys. He used to work with Tina in NY in a prostitution ring.
Chris - 33 years old. Used to be a promising young lawyer who lost his mind after losing his family in a massacre. Moans the death of his daughter and wanted to find the person who kill them. Performed Blood Eagle on someone. Deraged if not kept under medication.
Diagnosis : Schizophrenia
Brian - 17 years old. The most happy go lucky person in the institute. As a result of him being locked up in his family's house for 11 years, he is lacking socially and mentally. He's scared of Chris and are smitten with Jack. Usually hangs out with him and tell him about the candies and stuff his sister sends him. His sister didn't know of he was alive (she was send off to live with her grandparents) until his father was arrested for locking him up. His mother was bed ridden for years. Doesn't get angry and are usually curious. An amazing painter and story teller.
Diagnosis : Münchausen syndrome by proxy

Staff (because you have to wonder sometimes what it takes to make yourself wake up every morning to work with insane clients.)
Doctor (female) - The brand new young doctor who works with the patients in the hospital. Tries to 'understand' the narrator but the narrator sarcastically tell her to fuck off. Nervous, unsettled, she has a boyfriend who are supportive of her but doesn't want her to work there because he's worried she will get hurt.
Blaine - the doctor's boyfriend. The food supplier of the hospital. Likes Brian and usually gives him more food.
Kurt - 40 years old. The hospital's nurse/restrainer. Usually the one who sedates and keeps Chris behind bars when he is going crazy. Sympathises him and wonders how different they would be if someone killed his family. Treats the doctor like his own daughter. The father figure in the hospital.
William - 56 years old. The former main doctor of the hospital. Is the mentor to the doctor. Has a close relationship with Tina.
