So, after I signed my new work contract last Wednesday, I treated myself to a delicious burger. The next day I turned in a form for my remaining vacation days, and then I booked a trip to London, next Tuesday to Tuesday a week later. Flights were too expensive so late, so I'm going by train. Actually, I'm leaving after work on Tuesday on a train to Düsseldorf, where I'll catch a bus (owned by the train company, so it's the same ticket), which is going to Calais overnight, then on the ferry and arrive in London the next morning at 7. But I'll take the Eurostar on the way back.
I'm thinking of spending four days in Cornwall, all the way to Land's End, then two in London. But Cornwall is a five to six hour train ride away, so I'm still not sure.
