(no subject)
My dad was in the hospital for two days because his chest hurt. He has two (or three?) stents already and doesn't have a particularly healthy lifestyle - to put it mildly. They didn't find anything so he's back home. He was supposed to go to Berlin on Thursday but he'll stay at home now. Mom asked me if I wanted to go instead and now I keep thinking about it. I don't really have the time, I have a couple of things that I still need to prepare and/or buy (see below) and my current vacation plans don't allow for an extra day, either. On the other hand, my mom wouldn't have to go alone, Berlin is always nice and I could go shopping there. I'm torn!
It looks like I do need to buy another backpack, after all. I fit everything in plus some things attached to the sides, but the rain cover won't cover everything, and I think that's a rather crucial thing when you're hiking in the UK.
