It's not a good thing if you tell your boss that you can't go to a seminar (that I already signed up for *ahem* not remembering that I'll be on vacation) and he leads your next conversation with "Where will you physically be on the second of May?" and when I say that I'll be in England, he follows with, "Is there an airport nearby?" (Un)fortunately there are no flights from Southampton to Frankfurt and back again in a day. Not even from London. As much fun as that would've been - I've never flown anywhere for business reasons - vacation is sacred for me. And I want the full week in one piece.

Yesterday was the "long night of the museums" in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. You pay a fixed price and you can visit all participating museums, galleries, churches etc. in any of those cities from 7 pm to 2 am. I went with my mom and stayed in Mannheim, though we split up twice. I went to the planetarium, the local radio station, the technology museum, the Jewish synagogue and the mosque. All of them very interesting. The only sad thing being that the synagogue needed way more security than any other place, the synagogue is in the Turkish quarter and the mosque is right across the street from a catholic church. I love that.

My paid account will expire in a few days and while I will probably, even after all the bad decisions lately, renew it, not before Camp. So, taking advantage of this while I can:
