I finally booked my flights to Camp Sparkle! To Birmingham because that was cheaper. In fact I paid about the lowest amount ever for a flight since Ryanair got over its first few years and started inventing all these new fees to push the price higher. Camp Sparkle only runs till Friday but I'm staying in Birmingham till Sunday.
Has anyone ever stayed in one of the Birmingham hostels? Seems there are only two, Hatters and Central Backpackers, and I can't decide. Prices for a mixed dorm (c'mon, the mixed ones are always more fun) are the same, their distance from the train station is also roughly the same - although Central Backpackers seems to be closer to the bus stop to the airport. Central Backpackers has very nice, colorful rooms according to its pictures, but it seems to tend more to a party crowd and the common room cum pub worries me a bit.
Or maybe I should stay in London and only come back to Birmingham for my flight? Trains to Birmingham airport run frequently from London and the cheaper ones take only about two hours.
There's this person in the Supernatural fandom who posts their pictures and videos to just about every single community that the Supernatural newsletter watchlist has friended. And not all in one day but a couple of days apart. Every time I run across the name I check the previous editions if their entry was already linked to. Most times it was so I don't include it again. I refuse to indulge this.
I'm reading a small book about BSB from their very beginning. It's kind of fun but I wonder how much of what's said about them getting together is actually the truth.
