(no subject)
Linda (the teacher for the little ones) was mean to Sebastian today. And nobody is allowed to be mean to Sebastian! He's such a cute boy (the one I mentioned in one of my last entries), if a lot to handle. I think in a Western country he might be diagnosed with ADHD, here... probably not. I helped bathe the little ones today. By "helped" I mean I stood by the shower pretty helpless while three naked little boys were playing around inside doing anything but what they were supposed to be doing: shower. But hey, I've never done this before, and Linda didn't feel the need to show me what I needed to do. At least I helped dressing some of the others when they were finished getting washed in the (big) sink.
And then when all the kids were gone, us voluntarias went to buy a bottle of rum and made Cuba Libres. With a lot of freshly pressed lime juice, just how I like it. I know I definitely felt it after two glasses, and I guess the other ones did, too, since they started telling me all about the unappetizing times when they were sick here.
Oh, and I got a new story idea when we went to the beach house of the parish and there was someone doing a painting: Jared as an art student whose last model just walked out on him so he has to find a new one -- Jensen. Jared's getting pretty desperate by that point so he agrees to paint him, even though he normally paints women. Because it's supposed to be a nude picture, Jared paints the face first, then the body, but eventually Jensen has to get all naked. And then they fall in love, the end. Or something like that. I might have started writing already.
And now you'll excuse me, I have to go see if that cat screaming earlier was because it was just killed by one of the stray dogs. Although one of the others told me that they're not stray at all, they all belong to someone.
