Book recs?
I'm caving and buying an mp3-player. Because it's smaller and more practical than my current mp3-CD-ROMs-reading dicsman, and because it's rather cheap. In the last ten minutes the price went down 5 Euros, I kid you not. And while I was surfing around amazon, I thought it'd be nice to find some new books, too, that I could take to Peru. I'm taking the Silmarillion and the Unfinished Tales, those should keep me quite occupied, but I'll be gone for nearly seven months with no constant access to fanfiction. I'll print out some stories that I haven't read yet, too, but those probably won't last too long, either.
So rec me a book? Or more than one? I mostly read fantasy books, and of those usually the ones for children; which is not to say that I won't check out others, too. Just, no crime books, please, it's one thing that I haven't inherited from my mother (my sister has, instead). Paperbacks only, please, but if you know a hardcover book that I should absolutely read, feel free to rec that, too. I won't take it along, but eventually I'll be back, after all. :) And the smaller the font, the better! More words in less space.
