I've been cranky all day, since I procrastinated until 2 in the morning and got about 4 1/2 of sleep. Cheer me up. And since writing seems to do it these days, give me something to write, so I can procrastinate some more. Give me a pairing, prompt, icon, picture, whatever; Popslash, J²+Kane, Supernatural, or a crossover. Hell, I'll even throw

Sorry for the delay. I had so much on my mind lately, but I finally found some time for writing. Yay.

"And Hawaii? What about Hawaii?" Lance raised his head, pulling the pen he'd been chewing on out of his mouth.

"What, like we haven't been there before?"

"Not just you and me we haven't," Lance argued, then sighed and pushed another catalogue closed, setting it to the side. "Yeah, you're right. So what then, Bahamas, Jamaica, Europe?"

JC's slightly pained expression had to mirror Lance's own, and they both shuddered. Too many memories of screaming teenage girls camping in front of their hotel.

JC pushed himself up on the table and flipped through a few catalogues himself, then looked up. "Mississippi?" he suggested.

Lance sighed, tipping his head. "JC..."

"Yeah, I know, I gotta let you take your own time." JC fiddled with the pen, twirling it between his fingers on the tablecloth. "Just - whenever you're ready, okay?"

"Okay." Lance smiled and the both leaned in at the same time.

By the time they stopped kissing, JC's fingers had stopped playing with the pen and were playing with Lance's hand instead.

"I have another suggestion," JC said.

"Hmm?"

"We could stay here." JC squeezed Lance's fingers. "Have breakfast in bed, spend out days at the pool. Go right back to bed. Or we could never leave it at all."

"I like the way you think," Lance said, then closed all the open catalogues and put them in a neat stack on the floor.

Thank you. I almost wrote about them picking flowers (the prompt was "non-angsty"), but I'm glad I didn't.
