Happy holidays, everyone! For all of you who are celebrating Christmas, I hope you have a fabulous day tomorrow.

And thank you to venetia_sassy for my Christmas polar bear! He/she is adorable.

ETA: Another thank you to blueraccoon, who sent me a brain in a jar. Because I am a very good girl.

I saw Sweeney Todd today (I know, perfect Christmas Eve viewing), and ( Read more... )

Happy holidays to you too*hugs*

I really wanna see it if it gets released here cause I did hear good things about it.
But a shame they didn`t use the Ballad cause I always feel that is the heart of the story.

Thank you! Happy holidays. *hug*

I think cutting "Ballad" was their one real misstep (although I didn't miss any of the other songs that were cut), but I loved the movie otherwise, and really do recommend it. I've also now read that they actually filmed the "Ballad" sequences, so I'm hoping that they'll eventually be included on the DVD.

Because I am a very good girl.

If by "good" you mean "Evil enabler who sparks all kinds of fic ideas that then demand to be written", yes.

I prefer to think of it as "being helpful."

Besides, more good fic means that we all win!

You're welcome! It really was great, and Depp is a fabulous Sweeney.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie, though I probably won't in the theatres. Also. What you said in your text? ...That's kind of traumatizingly awesome. Which seems to be a theme with the fusions you come up with.

It's definitely a movie worth seeing, whether you catch it in the theater or later on at home (although the visuals did make it big-screen-worthy for me). And that fusion *would* be traumatizingly awesome. Because I'm thinking that at first it would just be a missing persons case, so the CSI team wouldn't be involved until the bodies start turning up. ...Which would probably be about the time the cops discover what's going on in the bakeroom of the pie shop.

And then there could be a twist wherein Flack has actually eaten there, and has previously raved about Mrs. Lovett's fab meat pies...yes, I really am going to hell. I KNOW.
