Its been a while.
to recap: nothing that new. my loves are still devouring me.
music: disco, folk and the blues are driving me crazy. i wait for the certain evenings when kexp (the best radio station on earth) plays 'roadhouse', the blues show, and ive been learning so much about the real underbelly of rock and 50-60's subculture. books: pair this with my recent lucky acquiring of Bob Dylan's memoirs and you have one happy factory girl here. also im getting into champagne again. who knew that all i would need to do is not drink it for a year, and then -pop- and i love it once more.
resolution: staying on top of local shows . which would be the French Kicks on 1/19 and Interpol 2/11 (which totally sucks cos Luna's last show is the same night), the psychedelic furs 1/21, the decemberists on 3/18 ETC.
