inspired by Andrea, I'm writing once again. I'm not sure that it would be the best idea to attempt to update the reader on everything since I last wrote...I'm just going to pretend you've been with me all along.

More student presentations this afternoon, which I'm a big fan of because I don't have to prepare a thing for class. Although I actually have to present something as well in another class -- just finished a 20-pager on Eve in _Paradise Lost_ and I've had to cut it down to 7 pages and will be presenting it today -- we have to pretend like it's a real conference though, and my professor is a bit of an ass, so he'll be critiquing us on posture and other stupid things. I'll just be happy to be done.

Next week is my last week of classes and I'm pretty bummed about having to leave here, but the upshot is that I'll be able to spend time with Andrea -- the first weekend I'm back we should rent Auntie Mame and Cool as Ice, the debut film of Vanilla Ice. Tagline: "When a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it. Just add Ice."
Plot summary:
"There is a small town in California, and it's so uncool it's almost on fire. The lifestyle is from the 50's, the clothes are from the 60's and the music is from the 70's. Then one day, a guy called Johnny Van Owen comes riding into this town on his Suzuki motorcycle, which manages to thrill the teenagers and upset the parents. And the first person that he has his eyes on is the female honor student Kathy Winslow."

After you mentioned it, I searched for Adam on friendster...damn, what a photo. That's actually exactly what I thought he'd look like -- very forest ranger-esque.
