So I haven't been here for awhile, eh?
Well, things are incredible, life is beautiful and Poland is awesome.
On Tuesday I have to cross the border so I can be here legally for at least another 90 days while I'm working on my residency. I'm going to the Czech Republic!! Woohoo! Land of so many of my favorite hockey players.
Here's a fun story.
When the pope was visiting here a few weeks ago, he spoke Polish for much of the time. Anyways, the Polish language is hard and nuanced and hard. Well, he made a mistake in pronunciation and instead of making a "ci" sound he made a "cz" sound at the beginning of a word and although he wanted to say, "I welcome you warmly!" he ended up saying, "I welcome you geeks."
Haha. Ahahha ah. Really it's almost impossible for me to tell the difference between the two sounds, but I was able to say them differently yesterday. That's a milestone y'all.
