real madrid
Thank god, the directions are in spanish but i just guessed which word was update. we´ve been in madrid since monday and its pretty cool here. parts look an awful lot like new orleans so its a little familiar. we{re getting by on jakes old school spanish. we went to the prado and saw Dali and Miro works at the reina sofia. tonite we are leaving for bilbao to go to the guggenheim in the morning. we were hoping to go to barcelona tomorrow afternoon but the trains are booked so we{ll travel on christmas. the food here is lots of fried eggs and potatoes, not a taco to be found, or a burrito sorry jess. we had some great pizza last nite and tried to go to a real madrid game but it was sold out. the stadium was amazing tho and the streets were packed, just like mardi gras in the quarter. the people in our hostel were awesome, from all over and really friendly. the weather here is great cool but the sun shines during the day. they smoke everywhere here even in the airport. and everyone has dog which they bring inside anywhere and all the dogs have lil coats and sweaters. also everyon in madrid seems really wealthy at least they are dressed that way. we are off to find sustenance and amusement. more later.
