thoughts
i got new glasses, and they're very cute, but i think there's something sort of off about them because when i wear them i feel like they're making me cross-eyed. i wonder if they put the wrong perscription in them, because my old glasses definitely didn't make me feel drunk when i wore them. that would be just my luck. guess i'll have to take them back tomorrow and figure out what's up.
my sleep schedule is all fucked up. i get home and want to pass out, so i take an hour or so long nap, but i still go to bed around 10:30. then i wake up for a while around 2, go back to sleep, and almost can't drag myself out of bed by 7. i don't tend to get so tired in the afternoon when i go on walks with the dog, but my shoes were rubbing my feet so i am giving them a rest. this is obnoxious because now that it's nice outside i liked taking our daily walk to the park. guess i should get new shoes or new socks or new feet or something.
i don't know how i feel about this new "dirty sexy money" show. i mean, it's entertaining enough, but none of the characters are likeable or interesting enough to really draw me in. but Nate always was my second least favorite family member on "six feet under," behind ruth, and he's sort of holding this whole new show together, or trying to anyway. "Dexter" on the other hand is still just as intriguing as ever, though it would be nice if he'd kill someone again already...michael c. hall has a much better post-"six feet under" show going for him. and "private practice" is sort of strange, but at least the characters are more interesting than in "dirty sexy money"...too bad they made Addison less interesting in order to accommodate this new set of characters around her. and lastly, the first season of "californication" was really good, VERY interesting and outrageous just as i've grown to expect from good HBO shows. (I caught up on my DVR this evening, if you couldn't tell)
