there are motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane...
i have been in the mood to comedy-binge lately...since i got all up to date on "dexter" anyway. this has led me to discover two films which i had previously missed out on: real genius and snakes on a plane, the first being far better than the second, though it has some charms as well...mainly the snakes' choice of biting locales and the utter absurdity of the entire "plot."
but real genius, now that was true...genius. easily val kilmer's best film (unfortunate for him, as it was made over 20 years ago, but so good it almost makes up for his subsequent "career") and just filled with sarcastic "smart" humor and amusing quotes. i may have to buy it. it was one of those movies that i wanted to watch again right after it was over...the sign of a truly good movie in my mind. and i would quote it here, but the quotes work much better in context, so instead i'll just recommend everyone watch it on their own.
i also watched this week's "Weeds" and "Californication" which were both pretty good, though not specatacular. now i think i'll go eat more because...i can and i'm still hungry.
in other news: the new cobalt gum is like crack. try it and you won't be able to stop. believe it.
