it's monday, yet again
well, my weekend was moderately fun. i spent all evening on friday catching up on my DVR shows from the week and eating a horribly fattening dinner. then i watched Forrest Gump before going to bed.
saturday, i talked to casey (finally) in the morning & it rained all afternoon so i watched movies & episodes of "The Office" (British version) until Corrina called and asked if I wanted to come to her family gathering and eat pizza. since the rain had let up slightly, i decided to brave the flooded streets and meet her at her uncle's house. much pizza was created, and it was a pretty good time (much better than lying on my couch eating mac & cheese). I returned home after that & watched more movies before going to bed early.
sunday i got up and printed a bunch of photos from the cruise, until i ran out of photo paper and magenta ink. then corrina called and i headed out to her new house for our traditional sunday paint-a-thon. paul had given her a 4:30 cut-off so we painted what we could and moved some unneeded items to the dumpster before heading into town for dinner with paul. corrina made some delicious chicken & broccoli and we made fun of some television shows before i came back home, took elliot for a walk, and put on my nightly movie. as i was watching happy gilmore, rose called and we had a nice chat (minus some "call was lost" issues) and decided we need to take a trip somewhere either at christmas or over her spring break next year. so we talked for quite some time, until i had to go to sleep and she had to get some food.
now i'm at work, and it's cloudy outside. hopefully it will rain again today.
