STARMAN PRIME

Starman Prime flexed his nimble fingers over the controls of his hyperspeeder, waiting for the precise moment to engage the drive. He hid, nestled between two of the numerous tall spires dotting the enormous spaceship, waiting for the shuttle carrying his target to depart.

The bay doors atop the largest spire opened, a sleek shuttlecraft emerging. Once through the mothership’s shield, the shuttle engaged hyperdrive, Starman Prime cloaked his speeder and followed. Patiently, he waited until they had traveled beyond the mothership's sensor range, then he made his move. Uncloaking, he fired an electromagnetic blast at the shuttle, bringing the ship to a dead halt in deep space. Starman swiftly docked with the shuttle, and using only the force of his brilliant mind, opened the hatch.

His nemesis, Barron Kolya, rose to attack, but Starman Prime swiftly dispatched him with a well-placed uppercut, then turned to the beautiful blond he had come to rescue. “Princess Saman…”

“McKay…McKay…wake up.”

“W-what…?”

John Sheppard glanced at the befuddled scientist, “What the hell were you jabbering about? Something about Sam?”

McKay peered out the shuttle viewport ignoring Sheppard's questions, "We close to Atlantis yet?"

"Be home in about two hours. You know…you're the one who bellowed about wanting to survey our solar system, and now that we're out here you've been napping the last two hours."

"The sensors and cameras are recording everything I need to study, so leave me alone."

Rodney McKay stretched, slouched down in his seat, and closed his eyes, oblivious to Sheppard's continued snarking; superhero Starman Prime had a damsel to rescue.
