Stargateland challenge provided 100 prompts, which we could write a one sentence fic or make an icon. Members could either submit their entry alone, or work with a buddy. Due to an erratic RL scheude at the moment, I chose to be my own buddy. That required anwering 25 prompts.
1. Bite
Absently, he touched the tiny wound on his arm; a harmless insect bite, yet he couldn't stop shaking, haunted by memories of the Iratus bug.
2. Reflection
As her people collected their abandoned possessions, she touched the ground, allowing the dirt to sift through her fingers, remembering their life before Michael.
3. Shoot
The Air Force ostracized him for not following chain of command; however, he had no choice, he accepted the colonel's orders and took the shot.
4. Explanation
"I demand an explanation from you pseudo-intelligent cretins; who put all these oranges and lemons in my lab?"
5. Caught
Freezing at the sound of boots on the ramp, he knew Sheppard had just discovered who was stealing from his chocolate stash on jumper one.
6. Safe
Breathlessly, blood dripping from his wound, he emerged through the event horizon, thankful they were safely home once more.
7. Wedding
With the Wraith threat eliminated, all of Atlantis shared in the joy of Teyla and Kanaan's joining ceremony.
8. Flower
"Doc, you scream like that one more time when you discover some new flower, and I swear I'll shoot you myself!"
9. Revenge
He desired revenge for Elizabeth's loss, but accepted that he would have to extract that closure from himself.
10. Charity
He had expected charity from her considering the bond they shared; he wasn't anticipating her boot would send him to his death.
11. Game
The annual Geeks vs. Grunts basketball game resulted in Kavanagh being knocked unconscious, McKay sporting a black eye (from an errant basketball), and Sheppard winning the betting pool.
12. Jump
"Damn it Rodney, jump if you don't want those buffalo thingy's to eat us," Sheppard yelled, pushing Rodney over the cliff into the river.
13. Gloat
"Ha, ha, flyboy; you are so jealous that you weren't chosen as the Sexiest Man on Atlantis, and before you make accusations, I didn't bribe anyone to vote for me."
14. Sound
He waited, waited through the long days of torture, beatings, waited for the muffled timbre of Ronon's blaster; he waited no more, rescue had arrived.
15. Breeze
"Um…breeze…," Rodney muttered, as a puff of cooler air blew across the hot desert basin, giving them a moment's respite from the oppressive heat.
16. Tea
The day's mission nearly cost them their lives; now she clasped a steaming, mug of aromatic Athosian tea in her hands as she snuggled next to Kanaan and Toren, thankful she was home.
17. War
He had joined the military expecting to go to war; however, war with life-sucking Wraith wasn't what he imagined, but war it was.
18. Alley
Several unconscious bodies belonging to rowdy inhabitants of the planet littered the narrow alley behind the tavern; they thought they could take on Ronon, they were wrong.
19. Candy
Years of missions had prepared him; Rodney withdrew a pouch of chocolate candy from his rucksack, doling it out to the excited children on the promise they would leave him alone.
20. Shower
He took his usual precautions, letting the cold, then hot, water run for a long time before he stepped into the shower; Kavanagh didn't notice that the hidden blue dye dispenser, on a delayed timer, waited longer.
21. Snow
Heavy snowfall and icy mountain slopes greeted them as they exited the stargate; Sheppard sighed, wishing he had his skis.
22. Gentle
Carson Beckett gently pulled the covers over his sleeping patient; thankful that once more, the colonel had cheated death.
23. Paper
Sitting in his office, surrounding by mountainous piles of paper, mission reports, requisitions, and leave requests, Colonel John Sheppard decided it was time to put his X-O to work.
24. Nightmare
He preferred not to sleep, sleeping only brought the nightmare; his nightmare was not concerning what they had experienced, but was about his fear of protecting them from what was to come.
25. Breakfast
Sheppard smiled watching the rosy-gold sunrise wash over Atlantis; it was his favorite time of each day, sitting with his team having breakfast, anticipating the day to come.
