Today I am still feeling vaguely ill.
It's hard to describe, but I have a mild dizzy sensation and feel sort of like I'm shivering, but I'm not cold nor actually shivering, it's just the nerve sensation. My heart also races randomly, and some of my muscles have been trembling/twitching for no reason.
It feels almost like a panic attack, but without the anxiety/mental factor?
I dunno, but I don't like it. And the only thing that makes it stop is sleeping, so I've pretty much spent the past 3 days laying in bed spacing out or sleeping. I'm really hoping it goes away soon. I'm figuring it's either anxiety or anemia, so I'm taking iron pills and Zoloft. We'll see if either one helps. If not, I guess I need to find a doctor in the next few days. The last time I felt like this, it cleared up in about a week with no medication, but it was also a lot milder...
Also, I finally rented and watched the Hunger Games movie. I wasn't thrilled with any of the previews I saw, so I didn't expect much out of the movie.
I was a little disappointed at how much was changed, and I felt like a lot of the story was missing because a lot of the world building was missing (there was all of 1 mention about District 13! And they never really explained Mockingjays, so it made the other genetically modified animals/creatures less impactful too.).
But I felt like Katniss was spot on, and I liked Haymitch a lot (which surprised me, as I don't really like Woody Harrelson as an actor...). And I suppose, since they're going to split the final book into two movies, they can do more of the worldbuilding then. I really, really like Peeta too. Gah. I don't know how Katniss didn't immediately fall for him... smart, sweet, and willing to die for me? I'd take him in a minute!
So, while the movie certainly didn't beat the book at all (even the visual effects like the fire-clothes were better in the book!), I did enjoy it and I'll probably rent the rest of the movies when they come out. =)
ETA: Suddenly, I'm extremely nauseous. Gonna take some Dramamine, hope it helps... though I'll probably just end up falling asleep since it makes me drowsy. Arg. Stupid body.
ETA2: Nausea gone. Drowsiness and headache have taken it's place. Arg. Gonna try to write for another hour, then I'm giving up and going to bed.
