Department of Homeland Security Photography License
After reading a Boing Boing article talking about a fake "DHS Photographers License", I was curious about making one of my own. After going to Best Buy and having some stupid cunt tell me I can't take pictures of the merchandise, I decided to finally get one together for myself... here's what I made:

The one that was posted on Boing Boing looks really cool, and I was almost about to just get the blank from him and use it myself. But after looking at the US Visa Card, Social Security Card, Resident Alien Card, Money, and other US Federal Government-issued cards, it struck me that the other cad just didn't look "official" enough. Plus when you get down to it, you guys should know I'm not the kind of person to just use someone else's work--I must make it myself for myself! (That's why I made my own fake card blanks no matter how neat Zeo made theirs. :P)
My plan currently is to get these printed up at Longs on the photo paper we have there... I'm very curious as to the quality the photo machines print at. As for using it, it is illegal to use a Fake ID card, but there is no real ID card that my card is faking, so I don't think anyone can do anything about it. In fact, Federal Law does permit me to use their logos and such (as it's public domain) and Copyright Law permits me to create derivative works regardless of its copyright status, provided it meets the regulations of Fair Use Laws. Correction: turns out that faking association with a Government entity is illegal. So I'll probably edit this card, removing DHS references and replacing it with a fictional US Government entity... like "Department of Photographic Authenticity" or something of that nature. I can at least still the DHS logos, so long as I edit them; Copyright Law is still applicable here. :)
The tough part was trying to get the "official" wavy grids that you see on a lot of Federal documents and money. But that's my little Photoshop secret... unless enough of you guys wanna know how I did it. (^_^) If you guys also want the blank for your own nefarious purposes, I'll post it for you. :)
