disappointed hopes
well... it's saturday night, and i'm disappointed with this weekend. yesterday was my labmate's birthday (yay andrea!) so we went to the tennessee state fair to "mullet-watch" ... only there were no mullets to be seen! i've seen more mullets in wal-mart! so because of the lack of mullets, i decided that we should play popped collar vs. mullet... in which we determine the popped collar to mullet ratio.. i think the final count was 6:3 in favor of the popped collars. so disappointing. and the fair wasn't all that fun either... i mean at least at the ky state fair you can wander around ky kingodom and there's tons of booths and different foods... no dice at the tn state fair. but i did get some funnel cake, which was a secondary goal, so i guess it wasn't that bad... it's probably just that u of l just lost, and now they don't have much of a chance for a national title... and my left thumb hurts for some reason.
and that's pretty much it. i'm moving sometime next month, which would necessitate having somewhere to go... haven't quite gotten that down yet, but we'll see what happens. i went apartment hunting today and only saw 1 place that i really liked... and now the question is, will all my stuff fit into a 1 bedroom apartment? it's really the couch that i'm concerned about, because it's rather large, and the living room in the model that the lady showed me didn't seem like it would be big enough to hold the entire thing. but maybe that's because i'm not good at imagining. anyway, i feel like i should go to bed... because i'm old, and i like sleeping at 11pm on saturday nights...
