I just signed up for emusic, downloaded my 50 free songs, then cancelled my account. I feel slightly guilty, but it does not compare with the happiness that is completely my Over the Rhine collection for free! I've read online that people had problems canceling their account and their credit card was still charged, but I have the email confirming that I cancelled and I did not go over my 50 free download emails. So here's hoping this isn't too good to be true.
For those curious, emusic is a music download subscription site that caters to independent and obscure music. They don't have many popular songs or groups available, but I was lucky to find Over the Rhine. I don't think they have enough music I like in order for me to subscribe, but 50 downloads was the perfect number.
On a side note, is it cancelled or canceled? Both look weird...
