As if I needed another reason...
...that Over the Rhine is the best band ever. I'm a "fan" of them on facebook, so I get their updates. Their most recent one?--they're dog foster parents. Apparently some stray dogs wandered onto their property, so they're taking care of them until a no-kill shelter can take them in. I think they got their other dogs from rescues, too. I could have sworn Karin did a shout out to Great Dane rescue at the concert.
If only Ohio Valley Tails were still around, this would be the perfect story! I don't think they're a well-known enough band for me to do a national story, though I'd kill to interview them!
