College is my daddy. Study, study, study. Or maybe Meteorology is my dad, or Physics, or.....hell I don't know. If only some of you realized how much work this major requires. Clubs become insignificant, except for the Meteorology Club of course. I remember the days in high school where the students that were in the most clubs and got the best ACT scores with a decent GPA would get a nice scholarship, and I'm pretty sure most of them didn't get a 4.0 their freshmen year. Not saying I will this semester; as a matter of fact, I can guarantee that I won't get a 4 this semester. Physics is extremely hard, considering the pace that we go at. Human Geo. is easy, but annoying as fuck, General Meteorology is fun to learn, so never a boring day in there, and American Literature is a waste of my time, but I gotta have it, so I go to class regardless. Colleges need a new way of determining who gets scholarships because some that earn them just throw it in the trash can just a quickly as they received them. The whole ACT or SAT bullshit shouldn't even be considered. Shit, my roommates dad wasn't even suppose to go to college. Now, he's an employer of over 25,000 people for a nonprofit organization. Some people are gifted, but don't know how to work; while others aren't pure genius, but will make more money than any brilliant mind out there. So lets move that scholarship money around to places they should be going to because I feel I got jipped.
