Two Days till 22
So it is two days till I am 22. Being legal is so last year.
My dad just wrote me an email detailing a broken heart he had right after he graduated college. Her name is Pat Camarena. Aparently he had a friend who also got dumped at the time and decided to commit suicide over it. My dad was not that drastic but, according to him, he "couldn't eat or sleep for quite a while." Aparently my dad is more dramatic than I am, which is hard.
On a side note, I googled Pat Camarena, and while I don't think that this:
is her. It would be HILARIOUS if it was.
I have major amounts of work that I am flat out not doing. I am insisting on watching dripping-with-sentimentality chick flicks. It is awful. This wasn't the best October Study Days I have ever had. In fact, it might just be the worst. It was also my last. I could have been home and in the company of a very nice man, but instead, I was stuck here running into people.
On a cool note, Focus Films (I think) was filming a film today here at the President's House. According to one of the actresses it is a coming of age film (which ones aren't) that they are shooting all around NYC. They shot the "college flashback scenes" today.
