I had a bad night at work last night. Actually, the night was good, I just lost upwards of $50 somehow, somewhere. So I pouted all day today and bought the Complete First 3 Seasons of AbFab on DVD. But now Jake is consoling me, so I'm starting to feel better.
The house is a mess. I had a dream this afternoon about it being so messy. I need to clean. Jen's moving out soon, so I don't think she really cares anymore. I've been gone (SD) for a few days, but Gma G-funk is coming to visit, so I need to get it spiffed up in here.
I'm trying to get my best friend from high school to move out here. He's probably...yeah, he's the only gay male friend that I have. It'd be a good move for him, Vegas has been Ugly for him. And for me, because we'd be on the beach playing volleyball all the time, so at least I'd get a workout. I hope it works out.
I spent a couple nights in San Diego visiting a friend. We went to Rich's because they were having a Madonna night in celebration of her birthday on the 16th and DJ Ray was there, and he's always good to me. I got to finally see the full version of the banned American Life video. I love her. I wore the Tshirt he gave me at last year's Madonna Birthday Bash at Tigerheat. I won the grand prize: and autographed picture of her. I was happy. Then I ate 4 Del Taco quesadillas and passed out.
Our planned day of art and museum hopping soured the next morning because the cheap tequila that my friend shot didn't agree with her system. It turned out OK, because I pretty much slept. Then we went to the Farmer's Market, she showed me around Ocean Beach and Point Loma, and then went home and had Halibut L'Orange and green beans and baby reds. And wine, wine, wine. Fell asleep to Blow, noticing even more places here in Long Beach where they filmed.
The next day we got up and went to the Gaslamp District. Saw dozens of gorgeous men. Broke my cherry with the art of Tim Cantor (Lara and David!! www.timcantor.com!!), spoke with his wife, who was running the gallery. Had an awesome bottle of wine, salad and pizza and good conversation.
