I can haz job?
Please celebrate with me: I have a job! 3 mos contract, but a job!
Employment has been an ongoing project for the last year or so. I love staying home and writing, but bills do need to be paid down, and I need a new vehicle here pretty soon to replace my aging, paint-challenged Nissan.
So, as of this coming Monday, I get to drive across town for a full time position. Can you say 'life changes?' Going to bed early, getting up early. Doing hair & makeup everyday. Driving at least 30 minutes one way. Paying off bills. Getting more responsible about my free time and how I use it.
Honestly, I am looking forward to the structure. I think my writing will benefit.
The Man and I will celebrate this weekend. WOOT!
