MyMan goes to the cardiologist today for his stress test, EKG and a heart cath ... I've started this bright New Moon day and Winter Solstice in prayer ... or whatever it is this thing I do when I speak with the Almight It ... Anyone who reads this and who has any Beliefs, I hope you make a kind word to your's on my/our behalf. *thank you very much*
I'm scared but interested and encouraged all at the same time. I went to the library and have been pouring over heart health books. I like the things the doctors are saying. I like the tests they are ordering. I even like the drugs they are using. I'm hopeful that a heart cath will come up with some answers and if they find blockages they can stent them right then. And he's young [only 42] and that's in his favor. He quit smoking a while back, also in his favor. He's thin and tall but apparently that doesn't guarantee anything when you're talking heart disease. Anymore, a heart attack can be construed as a "symptom" of heart disease and isn't an automatic killer which is amazing. The things doctors can do now that are less invasive than open heart surgery where they cut you stem to stern and crack open your ribs....
