yet another attempt at procrastination
MY BROTHER WAS HERE!!!! :) it was soooo wonderful to see him! he stopped here in gainesville on his way down to good ol' sebring. we hung out for awhile and then went to texas roadhouse and barnes & noble. very very cool ;) this morning i unfortunately had to get up early. it was quite painful, i had several choice words with my god-forsaken cell phone alarm, and then finally rolled out of bed at twenty after seven. it was worth it tho. lance took me to ihop (yummm... breakfast is definitely awesome) and then we went to pack up his stuff so he could head on home. he is having me hold various things for him such as a laptop and a guitar because he doesn't want them in storage. i will see him again next weekend before he deploys, so at least i'll get to say goodbye to him this time around.
soooo, i think my sentiments about school seem to be shared by quite a few other people, from what i hear. i was not all too thrilled to go to class on wednesday morning (well, all freakin day wednesday, to be accurate), and by the end of the day, it felt as if a train had plowed over me. soooo overwhelming. but then thursday went better. that's right... i have NO classes on thursdays! i am so amazing, i know. i will have to tutor a kid on thursday afternoons, but that's no biggie. that means lots of practice time in my future thursdays, as i see it. i also do not have class on fridays until 11:45. it's almost like i am not a music major for the second half of my week, but then i remember how painful the first half really is, and i figure that it's a comprimise. we'll see how it goes...
i have a ridiculous load of reading to do already for monday (hence, the procrastination) and i would like to get a chunk done today... i also need to hop over to the MUB to practice a bit so that i don't sink in my accompanying class. ugh already. i vote that we just postpone this semester indefinitely. any takers?
