Good news!
Yesterday they stabilized Nancy's arm by screwing the bones back together. Last night sometime she started waking up, so they took her off the ventilator. As of a few minutes ago, she is breathing on her own, AWAKE, and responsive to requests.
This is what we call "a good sign."
Patrick is still going down tomorrow. But with a much less fearful heart. Keep the thoughts and prayers coming. We're in it for the long haul.
