Small scale selling out
Does anyone else find the Beta Plus option in lj kind of tempting? I mean, for FREE, you get all those perks plus a nice interface and scrapbooking software... well, almost free, you only have to sell your soul, er, journal, to the god of advertising. Does that mean if people wanted to read my lj they'd have to sift through random spam like "Viagra! Does the body good!"? Ugh. I can't contemplate it. hrm. I also am not much of lj addict (compared to others, I guess) so I probably wouldn't benefit much. But god do I wish that they had Frank the goat on their t-shirts and not the stupid pen logo. I've wanted a shirt with a goat on it for a very long time.
Life is relatively simple right now. Coffee appointments, spending a little extra shopping, making a fool of myself at the driving range (in a fun way heh), 3 hour workshifts (soon to change though)... now there's also my other job to deal with, and potential future in-laws that refuse to speak english to me .. but.. I guess you take that in stride.
