I wonder how much time, don't to the very second, that we all spend thinking about things that just don't matter. That have absolutely no point, and all consequence. How much we all bring the world tumbling down upon ourselves. Or bring our separate, private, disconnected lives down upon each other.
I wonder about the far reaching damage that my slightest breath in the wrong direction could have. Of course that's egocentric, to think that I have that much power, however it's also egocentric to think that you can do anything and it doesn't affect anyone. I'm sure there are people out there who remember transgressions of mine which I have never realized existed, which I never gave even a gesture of apology toward despite the debt of repercussions.
