Just my luck...
Well I really can't complain about my day at work today. Everything went by smoothly, so I have no complaints there. All my patients seem to be doing fine so I'm a happy camper in that department.
Now here's where it gets interesting...
I was about 10 minutes from my house on the way back home, and a truck with a trailer hitch attatched to it was in front of me. Whoever packed the trailer hitch had a TON of junk in there. Matresses, chairs, tables, etc. The trailer hitch was pretty old looking and I guess the weight of all the stuff in it broke the back of the hitch. (obviously too much shit packed insecurely). Thank God the lane next to me was empty and I could hurry up and swerve and move out the way of all the crap falling in the road right in front of me. Thank goodness I wasn't tailgating the truck either, since I'm know for that! I would've been screwed.
Best part was that I passed up the truck honking and trying to signal him to pull over. Well it was a lil old man who had no idea he had lost all his shit in the street! I'm telling ya, old people should not be driving sometimes!
I finally calm down from that little incident and all of a sudden BAM! I freakin' run into the car in front of me. Luckily neither of us had any damage so that was cool.
Gawd damn! What an interesting ride home.
The minute I walked in, I poured a glass of some good wine and I've been relaxing.
I'm not sure what's up for this weekend yet. Hopefully something as exciting as my ride home ;)
