(no subject)
First, a question- has anyone cooked a whole chicken in the crock pot? If so, what the heck does the skin turn into? Our local market had whole organic chickens on sale for 90 cents a pound, so obviously I bought ten chickens :) I have been loving the ease of the crock pot, but dont know if I can cook a whole chicken in there and I can only imagine the skin turning into a rubber icky nasty mess, which is no bueno. We're a crispy skin family!
We met with the contractor and are going to make a 'suite' for the big girls. We're going to knock down the wall that connects Annabelle's room to Olivia and Madelyn's, make a larger walk in closet for them and make a door into the bathroom from the closet and put an extra sink in. Another project, lol, but I think it will turn out really nice.
One of our new friends down here had a baby and had to go back to work this week- leaving her 3 month old baby girl in daycare from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. That just breaks my heart and makes me realize how lucky I am to be able to stay home with my children. She is having a really hard time leaving her, but they need her income.
Thats about it here, the girls are all playing outside AND all playing together. Sometimes they do, sometimes they refuse to, lol. Taylor is doing some yard work and I just made a cup of tea and need to figure out what is for dinner!
