and revived it from its slump?
yes:)
in 2004, being the newcomers they were, revived the seemingly non-existent Singles market
and sold close to 500,000 in total for their first 2 singles.
they added life and vibrancy to the kroean music scene, breathing new life and hope for it!
in 2005, the land of the rising sun they ventured into,
and in the same year, rising sun became of k-pop's greatest hits.
in 2006, the release of numerous jap singles, saw their popularity rising at a steady rate.
beating all the discrimination and mistreatment,
they finally had their 8th single reaching 3rd place on the daily charts.
and best selling dvd, best selling album of the year, sweeping all the best artist awards...
they challenged to be different. to be unique.
they challenged the brutalness of society.
Thesis~Synthesis~Antithesis
2007, the bade farewell to their homeland.
to make their voices heard in a land they've learnt to call their second home.
they made it to Budokan,
they won the Gold artist award
they went to paris
and released 8 singles, that rose higher and higher each time on the charts
2008, saw the most fruitful year for these 5 angels.
4 consecutive Oricon Weekly Chart topppers--- Purple line, beautiful you, Doushite, Mirotic

finished their asian tour in great fashion.
finished their massive arena tour --> concert go-ers amounting to 390 000

i don't expect anything,
cos there's no need to.
they've always exceeded what people expected of them.
what i pray for them is their safety and health,
and the continuity of their passion and determination
to do the music they believe in.
they are more than just mere idols.
they're musicians.
and they will take their passion far and wide
to reach an even greater spectrum of success.

but have always stuck it through together to be where they are today.
they shouldn't only be envied.
they should be respected.
