insecurity
just a few days ago,
everything seemed so excitable
now i'm nothing but a mess..
perhaps they should require you to have a warrant
to permit you to think so much.
with all the free time on my hands,
i might as well be rotting.
people hate their fast paced lives
and i happen to miss it. SO what?
it keeps me on my toes, and
prevents me from taking my thoughts
off to some faraway place,
and now i end up lost.
all the insecurities are burning up a large portion of my sanity
my brain is "ON LEAVE"
i've always anticipated the holidays to be one
where i could just let go of all the pressure of studying
now i think i'm nothing but a hobbit,
waiting for something drastic to happen.
we all fear losing.
losing the present
losing status quo
losing the safety net you could once call your home
why do always people fuss over the topic of money
it's just some sort of currency that creates value over what we have
and to place us into various categories of society
what right does a single dollar bill have
to dictate our next move..
should i buy a latte,
should i save up for a rainy day//
life would be much better without any complications
even life on a deserted island doesn't seem that bad.
i''ve finally realised how the negative feelings are harvested
in the wake that they may in some way "threaten" the mere existence of something i call precious.
i'm just afraid to lose it all.
