i just wanted to post rule #24, and have an excuse to get in on itlap day (which looks, to me, more mayan than piratical, but anyway...) and try to salvage an otherwise yucky day.
which brings me to rule #24: keep at least one pair o' brand new, never-worn socks in reserve for those times when nothin' else be goin' starboard. and rum. rum might help.
as for talking like a pirate, i do hope arti_absinthium post pictures again this year... and saying so gives me an excuse to use the lj user tag, which has a teeny eye-patch on it today. frank says, "baaaaahoy". hee!
