My poor hand. T_T

Um... so... the kittens. This is what happened:

Last week, Wednesday, my Aunt was over and we looked out the back window. There was Gibbs (the gray kitten I caught pictured in the prior post). I rushed out there, scooped him up and brought him inside. He fussed, hissed and carried on... scratching me a little bit, but nothing too terrible. After a couple days I had him sleeping and purring in my hands.

Later that day I tried to catch his sisters (I assume they're both girls), I went under the deck where they lived... and just kept missing one of them. But the other was nowhere to be seen. :( I never did catch her, and she ran off. And didn't come back. By Friday I assumed the worst and didn't think they were alive anymore. :(

On Friday evening, I trapped his older sister (she was a kitten last year), Kelly. It wasn't pretty and it made me really sad but these cats need to go to a farm. It will be better for them, and better for George (my cat) who is getting in constant fights because of them. That night I took them out to the farm. They're really nice and great people with a 10 year old boy who loves playing with cats. I explained the situation to them, that I lost the other kittens, but I still had the mother to catch. They seemed okay with it. I just needed to make one more trip out there.

Except when I woke up yesterday, and looked out the back window... lo and behold... the two kittens. It's hard to explain. I was happy they were alive, but upset that instead of only having to catch ONE cat... I had three. And all of them were as wild as can be.

This morning I got lucky and caught one kitten, Toni. She bit and hissed and scratched me (my left hand may be scarred for life once this is over and done with) but I'm hoping she warms up to me like her brother eventually did. Now I just have one more kitten to catch, THEN I'll trap their mom. eep. Wish me luck!

I gained .4 at Weight Watchers. Which was one of those "what the?" weight gains. By all rights, I should have lost a ton. Oh well.
