If you hadn't figured it out
Well, I didn't post right away. So I didn't lose this week. :( Really, really depressing. Cuz I was really, really good and wrote everything down. I know why it happened, and it's just nature. I'll spare you the details, you don't need to know THAT much about me. ^^;;
This weekend was the weekend that my father decided we needed to do something as a family. Fine. He asked what I wanted to do. I mentioned that I've never been gambling before so I'd like to try that. So he booked us three tickets to go see Martina McBride.
Excuse me? WTF? This wouldn't have been so bad if I A.) LIKED Martina McBride, or really any music whatsoever. I'm so not into anything musical. or B.) He had ASKED first. It's a losing battle with him. He never sees it as that he did something without asking or considering my interests. He only sees it as he did a nice thing and I'm being a bitch about it. Typical man I suppose... It would be like me going "SURPRISE, DAD! I'm taking you to Anime Expo!!!" yeah..
Anyway, it was okay. She puts on a good concert and all. She's a good singer. Well it was my first concert so I have no frame of reference, but whatever. I just didn't really know any of her songs.
I did force him to take me to the boat so I could gamble, but it was like pulling teeth to get him to go. Because apparently "Steffannee doesn't want to go to the boat." I almost exploded right there. I lost $4.97 in 2 hours. :)
I had recorded One Piece while I was gone and was pleased to see that Funimation has taken over now and it's the new dub. It's going to take a while to get used to the new voices, especially Sanji's but I think it'll be okay. Oh, and they didn't leave his "lollipop." They just digitally removed the cigarette altogether. I don't like that they translated the opening and ending songs though. Wish they had just left those original.
Museum of Science and Industry has a Star Wars exhibit. ^^;; There's so much I want to do right now but no money. So broke... ;-;
