(no subject)
So I saw Halloween last night, which I have so highly anticipated...
It was... Ok. Well... If I had never seen a Halloween movie & wasn't such an avid fan, this movie would've been bad ass. But, because of the fact that I have seen every Halloween more times then I can remember, I was kind of disapointed.? I was hoping for something JUST like Halloween, I suppose. And in this movie, the plot goes everywhere, the characters are bad actors, and the 70's type of feeling is just all shot to hell as Dr. Loomis pulls out a new looking cell phone... Anna didn't die like she was supposed to, Myers' mom's a stripper, and I swear, towards the end, I thought Rob was going to have Michael speak, thus you would've seen me throw my drink at the screen & walk out... But he didn't, saving the theater from a sticky situation.
But, all in all, Michael Myers looked awesome. Sound was good. The killings were played well, and finally towards the end I realized I liked the movie.
Like I said, if I had never seen the original, this movie would be sooo bad ass.
