Omg.. it's a miracle!!! I am actually going to post a blog!!
I just feel the need to tell you all about my interesting day! Ready.... Here we go! Hold on tight!!!
So, I go to work today and it's me and Michelle till 1:30 then Carla comes in. Carla is awesome, just thought I would let everyone know. Anyway, so we are at work and some lady comes in w/ a Dollar General bag and leaves it at the counter while she shops and we can see that in her bag she has GLITTER MARKERS... this excites us!!! After this women leaves the store I walk to the DG to see if I can find the markers, NO LUCK... but don't worry my babies, I found something just as exciting. They have these head bands that had long hair attached to them for a DOLLAR!! Rock on... so I buy 3 of them. Lets see, I bought pink, green and some yellow color. Michelle wore the pink for a little bit then got jealous of my green and then switched to green. Carla in the mean time has the yellow one on and proceeds to wear it pretty much the rest of the day. I think the customers thought she was crazy but it was awesome. That is why we love Carla so much.
Anyway, so as the day goes on Michelle and I decide we should take her little monsters to the zoo for the spooktacular (or whatever it was called) thing. We call up the Bear and after much convincing the plans are set. She is going to leave work at 4 to go get the monsters then meet me at my house at 5:45. Bear is going to stay at work since he works in the ghetto downtown and it's closer to the zoo. Soooo... Michelle picks me up, we get all hyped up cause RJA was doing a live interview on 93.3, it was a total let down. We are on our way when Tyler decided he wants to be very unhappy and is now screaming. We figure he is hungry so we stop at the Winn Dixie on Beach blvd and I run in to get some food, get back out to the car try and give him food, NO LUCK AGAIN! So, on the road again.. now in the pouring rain. Now, Michelle doesn't like to drive at night let alone at night in the rain, and especially not at night, in the rain, and over the Dames Point Bridge. She starts to panic, tells me to turn the CD player to number 10 (which is Fall Out Boy) and tells me to turn it up really loud. I do as I am told. Finally, we get to the Zoo. Eddie is there waiting! He gets out of his truck comes to the car jumps in my seat changes clothes while we get the monsters ready (at this point, it's not raining anymore). We get everything ready to go and start heading to the gate to get in. Austin now has to pee and it's starting to rain. Eddie takes off w/ Tyler while Me, Michelle, Shawn, and Austin are dragging behind. We get to the gate and we see Eddie running back to the car (STILL RAINING, GETTING HARDER), he tells us that the zoo is CLOSED!!! YAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAY... could anything else go wrong? YOU BETCHA!!! So, out little gang turns around and heads back to the car... at this point I am holding Austin in one arm and holding a beach umbrella in the other while trying to run to the car in flip flops that are slippery and trying to keep everyone dry. We finally get back to the car, get everyone in and settled and instead of leaving we decide this would be a good time to feed the monsters. REMINDER: Austin had to pee! Guess what?!? Austin still has to pee and it's still pouring outside, so Michelle comes up w/ the idea that Austin can pee in this plastic container we have in the car and then we will just throw it out... hey.. works for me. We get Austin out of her seat and she is now squatting in between my seat and Michelle's and I am holding this container under her area (figured that was a better word than others)...I told her to go ahead.. BAD IDEA... had the container in a bad spot and she PISSED ON MY ARM!! That is love right there. When then left the zoo after that and drove home w/ only minor complications. I think we are gonna try again tomorrow night. Hopefully is will be more successful!
Now I am home, and home is where I will stay!
