it's silent.. it's scary.. it's Silent Hill
I really love the "Silent Hill" Games Series - it's so fucking scary and the story is often really really god - my favourite one is the second game though ... but i also really loved the third. The forth one - nah - they had this fucking ghosts .. enemys you could not kill. well - od you get whats wrong with that idea? If i wanna play SILENT HILL i wand too kill monsters and solve puzzles ... but i DON'T want to be bothered by monsters while sovling these puzzles.. but, if you CAN'T FUCKING kill them.. that's exaclty what's gonna happen - so, the forth one (called THE ROOM) was the first one i didn't finish.. i was just sooo fed up with it.. well
two weeks ago i finally bought the newest addition to the series => Silent Hill: Origins. First of all - this is not primary a PLAYSTATION 2 game - it was developed for the PSP and i was so pissed that i didn't have one - i really considered buying one especially for this game - well, thank god i didn't do that, because it was released for the ps2 - yeahaaa!
So - the look is not really up to the standards of the time - it was developed for the psp and that's something you see definetly - but, yeah - it's about the atmosphere and the story.
so - i have just finished the obligatory "Hospital" level and am right running trhough a sanatorium - the game is not as good as two and three - but it works nevertheless . it's scary as hell and i really enjoy playing it.
but there are is one thing that's really bothrering me. They changed the "battle system" - now you can finally fight with your fists alone (which works great and i like that) BUT - and thats a big big BUT .. now your weapon break down after some time. THAT SUCKS ASS!!! so you have to look for new weapons all the time .. i hate that.. i really really hate that. that's nearly as enoying as those fucking ghosts from SILENT HILL: THE ROOM.
but yeah - i will end this post now and return to my playstation - i have to find out what's going on in this fucking town *g*
