Atlantic City

Well here I am! So far, Atlantic City is very much a resort/tourist attraction. It's strange how the boardwalk sits one block from the ghetto. The house we're staying in is located in Brigatine, a suburb of A.C. It's a cute little resort town where you can ride a bicycle around town and has more real estate/agents per capita than anything I've ever seen. I can now add two states and an ocean to my visited list. That makes two oceans and the gulf. I only have 22 more states to see, so I figure by the time I'm old, I will have seen them all. The house sits on the bay of the Atlantic Ocean, and we can literally watch the fishing boats go by. The Atlantic is actually very pretty; however, New Jersey is a lot hotter than I ever imagined!

We walked through Caesar's Palace today on the way to the boardwalk. The boardwalk was a little disappointing. I expected it to be a lot cooler, but it's just one big casino. The Pier at Caesars is huge!! It's easily two city blocks long and easily the biggest shopping center I've ever seen. Of course, I've never seen the Mall of America, so when that happens, I'll let you know. I can now say I've been on the Jersey Turnpike! Very cool!

The Atlantic City airport is small, but I guess that's because it's more of a regional airport. The Cincinnati airport sucks! I almost missed my flight b/c I couldn't find the gate. Tell me why you have to take a bus to get from terminal A to terminal C, driving through the runway to get from one place to another. Is that not retarded?! The gates in terminal C are letters. There's one huge waiting area where 10 different flights are boarding. Does that make sense to anyone?!

Well Megan's up from her nap and wet, so I must go change her clothes and diaper. Adios!
