Guess what? I shaved my head..well, some lady at a barbershop did. Ever seen Barbershop? Well, that's what this place looked like. I was the only white person there and definitely the only female there to get a cut. Now, I have a buzz cut like Sinead O'Connor or Natalie Portman. I actually like it a lot, although it is wierd b/c I keep just thinking my hair is pulled back in a ponytail. But then, I rub my head and, ahh....it feels so cool! My mom said I look like a 13 year-old boy, but I don't really care. I have never really felt an attachment to my hair anyway. Besides, it can be a symbol of new beginnings as I head to New Hampshire to the treatment facility.
Unfortunately, most people believe that a woman who shaves her head is a lesbian, so now I must convince others I like men...or I could just play with their minds, haha.
My mom has a SAM's card, which means we can go shopping there. It is so cool...giant cans of mixed nuts and pounds of black grapes, sweet!
